While on vacation, I somehow broke the LCD on my college son's laptop. I was considering buying a new one but found that there are plenty of replacement LCDs out there. It was certainly cheaper than buying a new laptop! Arrived quickly and fits perfectly. I will say that this setup is probably not for the average computer user. I'm an IT manager and I've built a lot of computers, but I've never done much with laptop displays. I watched a few videos on You Tube and despite the meticulousness, the exchange wasn't too bad. The screen looks great and should now outlast a laptop's usefulness given the ever-changing advances in technology.
