I can't say if the lights are durable or not. They always ask for a review but most of the time I have not had a chance to test on a trail. As for them coming with a switch, that is really not helpful. They want you to wire in a relay, inline fuse and the switch. For plug and play people that can be a pain. They should just make to versions one with a professional harness with everything wired then to a bus bar or battery. The other for people who are just going to the battery and using the remote only.
