This is not the same quality and feel as the original Mercedes key fob but is a suitable replacement. hard to press. I really have to dig to push the button - hopefully it will loosen up with time and exposure to the elements. Second note: The internal battery compartment and the release buttons are very difficult to unlock. I chose my original tray because it had much rougher cutouts for my fingernail to snag to release the key. This new one was too slick and flimsy, I slipped on it a couple of times trying to let go of the key. Third, the key fob is very tight on the ignition switch. I had to use force on the first try and massage the ends a bit with a thin emery cloth to make them smoother. The original key never had this problem. Overall not bad for a replacement key fob but if you want original looks and quality just get a genuine Mercedes dealer key.
