Okay I just bought a $2000 MSI gaming laptop for use overseas (yes I know my husband thinks I'm crazy too but without my desktop, Xbox and my TV I wanted something that could do it all) and wanted something that could protect it VERY GOOD because crap happens during use. What. back to the drawing board. Couldn't find another hard case that didn't have bad reviews but I kept coming back to this one. Maybe not crushable or waterproof but seemed very protective. Finally got it today and couldn't be happier! The interior is very well padded and maybe the softest thing I've ever felt in my life. I need a blanket made of this material! At first I found it odd that it opens from the side instead of the top, but then I realized it was a nice feature because it looks slimmer and allows the laptop to slide in easily. like a glove with a smaller weak point. The "lip" of the pad is really great because if you forget to close your bag it completely prevents the laptop from falling out. I even held it upside down out of the hole to check and my laptop stayed in it perfectly. My laptop is an MSI GS65 Stealth Thin so I like that this case is also thin so I don't waste space because it ends up happening. in other hand luggage. I also love that the handle slides down the sides to flatten out when not in use. Finally, the style is awesome and professional. I didn't even think about the color scheme when I ordered it, but I have to say it looks pretty amazing with my MSI. The pockets are perfect for my external hard drives. This is the best case I have ever had and I am very satisfied!
