Additional important information required on packaging

This is a good product concept/idea that tries to provide very useful information about important functional fluids. However, the current iteration of the product is somewhat incapable of generating this information. Firstly, there is no use by date or best before date on the packaging - a discussion related to the Revain product claims a 3 year shelf life. How old is the product/package I received and how long has it been in stock? Are the test results I just got from my first test accurate, how about 6 or 12 months? The manufacturer should definitely address this shortcoming and put a "best used by who" stamp on the packaging so that consumers/commercial businesses can rely on the accuracy of the test results. Second, the incremental glycol percentage readings change in 10 point increments and then inexplicably jump from 60% to 100%. My daughter just bought a used car and I tested her coolant with strips and the test results were in the 60-100% range. So how can I tell if the level is 62% or a very imbalanced level of +80%? I had to use an old reliable Preston pump tester to get accurate readings. Thing is, if your glycol level is over 50% these strips are not going to give you the accurate readings you can rely on. I officially rate this product 3 out of 5, but 2.5 if available would be a more appropriate rating. The manufacturer really needs to address these shortcomings to make this product outstanding.
