Mine also arrived with the center module hanging from flimsy wires but everything seems to work when I snap the center component in place. I am using a Mac. So if a Mac app is specifically programmed to receive the standard PageUp/PageDown event codes, as opposed to the standard fn up/down arrow for PageUp/Down, the app will just sit there while you happily press the pedal (SongBook for Mac does not work with the Donner pedal). It would be great if Donner let you program Pg/Up Pg/Dn for Mac. However, if the application intercepts non-Mac pageUp/pageDown (ChordPro Buddy, MusicReader, MacOS Preview), pageUp, pageDown, ArrowUp, ArrowDown will work fine. I like the ability to switch from paging to line spacing etc. No need to re-pair, it just works. The battery lasts well and falls asleep after 25 minutes of inactivity. Overall the design feels great - it doesn't slide across the floor like the AirPed does. I would give the Donner pedal 5 stars if I could get it to send Fn-ArrowUp/Fn-ArrowDown for PgUp and PgDwn for my Mac.
