I don't know why she snapped. I put it in a preheated oven and after 5 minutes I hear a loud pop. I checked the oven and saw that one corner of the pan was flipped all the way up so 1/4 of the pan with the bread on it was up in the air. I finished baking the bread and the 3/4 bread corner started to go down. This should not happen with any baking pan and certainly not with stainless steel. Something is wrong with the metal used. To update. The pallet uses 430 cc. It rusts and is medium grade steel. No wonder I had trouble with that. If you don't want it to warp, don't preheat the oven as it needs to heat up slowly. I've also read that you have to have food all over the surface of the pan or the heat won't be evenly distributed and it will crack and warp.
