Review on MAYTEX 10 Gauge Super Heavyweight Frosty Vinyl Shower Curtain Liner With Rustproof Metal Grommets, 72" X 72 by Casey Collins

This shower curtain is heavy and very good quality. I'm sure it will last a long time. It doesn't have a magenetized bottom, but because of it's weight, the magenets are not necessary. The shower curtain is heavy enough to use alone if someone does not want to go through the expense of a fabric curtain over it. Water beads up and drains off quickly, so that should aid in the mildew resistance. The one drawback (and it is significant) is the smell of the plastic. As mentioned in other reviews, it is VERY STRONG! I have had the curtain up for 3 weeks now and the odor is still present in the bathroom and and adjacent bedroom - although it is weaker now. When I first put it up, it could be smelled down to the lower level of the house!
