I filled it with hot water to prep the box for a hot lunch for my child. When I try to open it again, it took me several minutes prying it with a butter knife to open it. The suction from the hot water was so strong and no way to release it. I really wanted to like the box since there is no other option for insulated stainless steel for small children. Their recommended solution of putting a piece of parchment/wax paper is a waste of time and money; no to mention I don't want the food in contact with paper. It's their poor answer to a bad design. The shape of food slots are weird when you really start putting food it. It's not Though it appears small the slots do provide enough volume for a small child's lunch.
