This towel is very thin and light. I bought it to use as a regular bath towel, but it's also good for camping or traveling. This is not a cotton bath towel, so don't expect it either. If you want to wrap yourself in a nice warm towel, this isn't it! However, if you just want to dry quickly, this will work. It's not super soft. It dries very quickly and you can tell if it is completely dry by a discoloration. and much cheaper than the microfiber towels sold for hiking. Size: 29" x 56" and folds into an 8" x 8" x 2" square. Weight: approximately 14 ounces. Color: very tan, I would classify it as beige, not the greatest color I would recommend this towel if you're looking for a thin, lightweight towel, but not if you're looking for something soft, fluffy, or snuggly.
