The adapter works great with USB Power Delivery and Lightning

When I had to connect the YubiKey 5C NFC (male) to the iPad Pro (Lightning) to access Google Advanced Protection, all I could do was USB -A received with the Apple adapter. I had a USB to AC charging cable (male) and needed this adapter to connect the two plugs together. It also passes higher PD voltages. With everything running over USB-C, this is a must-have adapter for your toolbox.
