Used to replace the CPU fan in the MSI GS63 Stealth 8RE Notebook. Comes with thermal grease, but if you're just replacing a failed fan, you don't need it. About 14 months after I bought the laptop, the CPU fan failed. It started making a loud crunch and upon inspection the fan stopped and started again and again. The processor also got very hot due to the fan not working. There are 2 or 3 videos on YouTube on how to replace the fan. So be sure to check them out, but at a high level you should: take off the bottom of the laptop, disconnect everything from the motherboard, remove the motherboard and battery, disconnect and replace the CPU fan on the motherboard, close that Reconnect motherboard and reinstall it and battery. Speakers don't work. It was definitely my fault, but I always use Bluetooth headphones anyway, so I don't care. Be careful when reinstalling everything but this fan has worked great so far.
