The yellow plates are so versatile, after cooking with them in the oven or microwave, they look nice being used as a serving dish so no need to dirty up another dish that you’ll have to clean later. The handles make them easier to grab a hold of when taking them out of the microwave and oven. I thought the yellow color was different, it’s bright and a nice change from neutral color plates to really make your food stand out. To give you an idea of size, there’s 2 corn dogs in my photo and an individual size microwaveable lasagna.The small red pans are a good size for side dishes, I used it to make corn cheese. In my photo there is one can of corn in the pan. I put it under the broiler on high heat for 3 minutes, no cracking on the pan occurred.
