My son just turned 7, I ordered him a size 7/8, he is thinner and longer. The trousers sit well in the waist but are a bit long. But not for too long for them to interfere. The shirt on the other side fits great, but is smaller. More like a size 6. Compared to another size 7 it doesn't fit. I think he'll outgrow the shirt before the pants. The color of the character's shirt and pants do not match. It's the same material but the colors don't match. The material itself is pleasant to the touch and dense, but at the same time quite breathable. It was a hit with my kid so there was no option to return it to try a different size.
