Review on 🛏️ Portable Playard Mattress Pad: Foldable Memory Foam, Fitted 38X26x3 - Washable Cover + Storage Bag by Joshua Gulledge

Bought because we were at a friend's house for a week with our baby. We brought the pack and play and this mattress as a crib for a week and it worked great in terms of size and portability. There are a couple of downsides though: the mattress cover is removable BUT it's very difficult to remove and put back on and the zippers are flimsy. The holes were so small that I struggled to pull out each of the three sections of mattress foam, then struggled to pull the cover back on. I was always afraid that the zippers would break because they must have been the cheapest zippers. I was tempted to take this to our local seamstress to see if she could replace the zippers with stronger ones. It was the same with the zippers on the carrying bag. The mattress came with two tote bags, which I assume are intended for use in case one breaks, which I can see as it's just a thin, clear vinyl bag. At least they provide a backup I think. The mattress didn't have an odd smell, and the vinyl tote bag lost its smell after I aired it out during the day. Despite the shortcomings, I still recommend this mattress for travel because it's really very comfortable: we don't have to worry about putting the child to bed and it's easy to take it with us in the car.
