I bought 8 of these for my house and 4 more for my mother in law's house. Very well done. Has given me the most flexibility when installing Moen handrails. Be careful when tightening the 3 small plate screws which can break if over tightened. It only needs to be tightened to achieve 500 pounds of holding power. The key is to loosen the anchor bolt in the wall. If you are mounting with a bolt you will need to provide your own screw. I used hex head screws and a cordless impact wrench. The best installation procedure I've learned is the following. 1) Do not draw 2 mounting templates at the beginning, just the 1st bracket 1) Assemble the 1st wall bracket completely, unscrew the dowels, but do not tighten the panel screws. This will help install the second bracket. 2) Draw a template and install the second bracket by loosening the wall anchor and panel screws, then tightening the panel screws. Other reviewers who had installation issues tightened the first bracket. This gives less flexibility when installing the 2nd bracket as the plate's 3 screw holes in the handrail don't have much clearance.
