I like the strip from start to finish. This will help you with the installation. Elastic front and back are effective. I think it will stay in the wind. The size is a bit big for my Miata which is a plus. The image shows that the lid is thin through and through. I don't know how tear-resistant it will be, but it's not suitable for outdoor use anyway. Works well as a dust cover. It does not retain liquid from your vehicle. Something nasty peed on mine and got into the trunk. I am happy. My requirements are not strict. I don't recommend it for medium protection.
