I wanted to wait for the first road salt on the road to rate this product. Quick verdict = I won't buy again. Applied in Spring 2019, held up well to rain, mud etc. I applied a second coat for the winter in September 2019. My machines are not machine washed so I take them to the store and hand wash them at lower temperatures. Literally a week later I washed off the first road salt and salt stains started appearing on my wheels. Now I need to polish them again and find a better finish. I think I'll have to gather my strength and get a ceramic coating at some point. At the moment I'm using a hybrid ceramic coating to survive the winter. However, Maxcoat is absurd and definitely not worth the price. FWIW, the product is easy to apply and remove (applies like a paste and is slightly different than applying a wax). Can get messy, use latex gloves if you buy this after reading my review. The problem that other reviewers have with the expiration date also appears in my bottle now. I have spent money on this product. Will not buy or use again. There are better products. This is coming from a professional detailer who runs a parts store in Chicagoland. I daresay a $4 can of turtlewax will probably hold up better than this.
