these things are fragile
Brightness and light quality are good but I broke 2 out of 4 trying to insert and remove them from the mount and into the lens mount. It fits snugly in the holder as the end of the bulb is much larger than a standard 194 bulb. I also had to solder the connecting wires on the lamps because the part that goes into the socket is thinner and only has 1 thin contact wire, whereas the old 194s had a loop wire, effectively doubling the contact area.
