I have nerve damage in a hips and I had never heard or seen anything like this. It seems made specifically to lighten my hips when I use it, as you can see from the product photos. However, if my hips were a little bigger, it wouldn't work as it's not designed for a large hip. I would say it's made for medium to small hips. And that's all he does for me. I have no real reason to use it on my arm and it never hurts me anywhere other than on that one thigh. In my opinion they should have made it bigger. But it helps and the concept is solid. I know because, as I said, I have nerve damage. This makes me feel pain. This gives me some relief and for this reason I usually keep it handy at my home office.
