I upgraded my bike and my wife's bike to tubeless. They didn't have stans so I bought a pair of these and a pair of stans. OrangeSeal with O-rings costs nothing. The slightest sideways pressure on the shaft will simply compress the o-ring and allow the air to escape. Simply tightening the nut compresses the o-rings so much that they deform. The simple fact that you include o-rings should indicate that they have a design flaw. In comparison, grinders do not require O-rings as the rubber base is tapered and completely seals the hole when the nut is tightened. This design looks promising in comparison, but in practice the large oval rubber valve is so wide that it never lays flat in the rim channel and so the rib only touches a small contact area with the rim/tape is allowed to move out of the rim - for the spring system made of double sealing rings. As an engineer, I see this as an example of a design that might seem like a good idea at first, but upon closer inspection it's simply a bad design that can never be fixed by adding O-rings all over the world. They can work well in some applications. I had very good DT Swiss 27.5" wheels and Schwabe tubeless tires and these stems don't seal.
