Review on 🚗 iCarsoft Auto Diagnostic Scanner POR V2.0: Porsche ABS Scan, Oil Service Reset, and More by Ralph Gerry

I ordered this to check the diagnostics and reset the service interval message on my 2014 Cayman S after servicing 60,000 miles. Updated software before use. The upgrade process was simple and straightforward. Connected to my car via the OBDII port and was able to easily reset service interval alerts. I went to diagnostics and things got a little weird, but I quickly found a workaround. My car was listed in the division simply as a Cayman, while the Boxster was listed as a 981 Boxster, although mechanically they are actually the same car. When connected as "Cayman" the diagnostic functions did not work at all. I was unable to look up engine computer information or diagnose any of the car's systems. When I manually switched the device to "981 Boxster" via the menu system, everything worked fine. It would be nice if they could get the device working consistently for the different models it's intended for instead of guessing. Still expensive if I just want to reset the service interval (honestly it has to be done from the machine itself without having to connect it to a computer), but POR V2.0 is still cheaper than other solutions.
