I don't usually look through but after this purchase I decided I had to. I bought this rocking chair when I first found out I was pregnant and have been using it for about 11 months now. A few things.1. The chair is narrow, I weigh about 250 pounds, my hips are touching either side of the chair's armrests. 2. There are ties on the back cushion, but one of them is sewn in a very strange place, so you have to tie it crookedly, which is why the cushion doesn't sit symmetrically on the chair.3. TODAY was the first time I pulled out the footpeg platform on this seesaw. That's why I'm writing this review. My feet rested on it, and on my feet I had my daughter. She weighs about 12 pounds. After about 5 minutes I hear a pop and click and my foot platform is broken and unusable. choose a rocking chair again. I would a) buy a rocking chair with a metal frame that reclines and swivel and b) buy a rocking chair with a wider base or armrests. I think for $200 I expected more when my husband and I got a metal rocking chair. one from the fleet farm for $100 about the same time and I'd rather use it than this one.
