Well a few years ago I bought two Flowmasters Super 44 mufflers to fit behind my two catalytic converters. They were on my 2003 GMC Sierra 1500 HD (crew cab with 6ft short bed) 6.0L V8. I was thrilled to have true lookalikes and the loudest mufflers the Flowmaster makes. From the outside they sounded like a hot rod, but the internal resonance and noise was terrible, especially at speeds around 25 and 75 mph (horrible rumble/annoying noise). After a year I had to get rid of them and put them back. I needed something secondary, but I wanted a deep, smooth tone with good bass performance for my truck. Here's a big block from the 70 Series II. Great sounding muffler that lets you know you've got a top performing muffler. It came quickly and was well packaged, but I had to return the product due to my inaccurate measurement, not the product. Product return was quick and easy and returns were in my account quickly

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • poorly thought out
