I almost bought this product because there were some negative reviews about the resolution and the cropping of parts of the image. I have found that this is not true at all. The resolution was great. I tried to take good quality slides from the screen but wasn't happy with the resolution or color. Wolverine created high quality JPEGs from my 35mm slides and 35mm film negatives. It is very easy to use and the process moves at a good speed. I found I didn't need any special trays that can be purchased separately. As in other posts, I wanted to convert all those old photos into digital JPEG files to share with family and friends on flash drives. I was very happy with the results.
