Review on 🔴 Deconovo Black Blackout Curtains 84 Inch Long - 2 Panels, 52x84 Inch, for Living Room & Room Darkening by Cameron Novak

Purchased 42" x 54", Light Beige. I like these curtains in general, having solved the initial problem of a terrible chemical smell. Curtains are made from thick and durable 100% polyester. I noticed a chemical smell in them so I washed them in the washing machine on a regular tide. It removed most of the smell, but some stayed, so I washed them a second time with cold water and 2 cups of baking soda, no soap, then rinsed them twice. I air dried them because I was afraid the heat would intensify any smell. They dried well and when I hung them up again the smell was gone. They wash well, dry quickly and hang up easily. The light beige doesn't completely darken the room, but I didn't expect them to be like that since they aren't aligned. However, they look great with a light-colored, unlined curtain. I think a darker color darkens the room more. I don't think a light colored unlined curtain would work any better than this one and I am very pleased with how dark they make the room. I have horizontal blinds hanging behind which helps. Also when ordering light colors it would be helpful to order a double width resulting in more curtains within the window area. I think this is a good buy for the price. I would rate them a 4 if it weren't for the chemical smell that I had to eliminate before using them.
