Review on Pureline Oralcare 4 Thermo Molding Custom Fitting Whitening Trays: Achieve Your Brightest Smile! by Carmen Rosario

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great if you follow these instructions!

Instructions included: Boil water and immerse tray for 5-15 seconds. DO NOT DO THAT! After reading so many reviews about how quickly they turn into an unusable mess, I want to suggest a better approach. The first two I tried using this method came out perfect. Do not fully boil the water! Turn the burner to 5 or half and wait a few minutes for a few bubbles to appear - this water temperature is MORE THAN ENOUGH. You should be pretty smooth with the next step. While you can still see a small amount of bubbles, lower the bowl into SLIGHTLY OR NEARLY boiling water once or twice for 1-2 seconds each. Remove the veneer, drain excess water for 1 second and place over your upper or lower teeth. Shape them quickly with your fingers, but make sure the back and sides don't touch the molars or they may curl up. DO NOT BOIL THESE LIKE AN EGG - THEY WILL CRACK. My understanding is that you shouldn't boil them at all, just soften the plastic to a translucent state with hot water and then have 3-5 seconds to mold them into your teeth. If there is a gap or part of the mouthguard doesn't fit your tooth shape, you can submerge it in SLIGHTLY OR NEARLY boiling water to try again. I don't think you'll have many attempts, so try to get it right with your first hot water bath or two. Mine came out great.
