This belt was exactly what I was looking for - good workmanship and optics at a reasonable price to match my new universal kilt. I have a few others Tried brands but ended up returning due to poor printing on the samples.This one looked perfect straight out of the box and matched the Distel belt buckle perfectly.The width of the strap was perfect and had no problem getting through loops.The part where the strap folded over (with velcro closure) protrudes a little at first but that goes away with time, considering how many months it has been rolled up in the manufacturer's packaging or in Revain's warehouse, I am not surprised that it is this shape retains some time (whether it's a high quality skin or not), it will take a little preparation to get what you want en deal with a $20 mass-produced product, not a $75 handcrafted product.
