Didn't know this condenser had been around for a long time. While our heat pump was still working perfectly, we swapped out both condensers and found that it wasn't at its peak. It may be imagination, but the fan seems to blow harder and now more cool air gets into the rooms at the end of long runs. Installation took 10 minutes. Just don't forget to discharge the old capacitor (mine already had it - it seemed - and yours might not) and swap the wires. Ours rested on just one screw. In general, simple preventive work.
