Do your friends a favor and buy this for those hot days when you have a fan.
So I know it's not summer anymore, but in summer my room gets pretty hot and I can't play without a fan. I stumbled across them and decided to give them a try, although they'll get the full benefit of them soon. I opened up the Dictaphone and recorded dozens of samples with the windshield on and off and the fan set to different speeds. At low and mid frequencies it completely blocked the sound, at high the sound is rather weak, but TAAAAAAAAA is much better than no windscreen. I constantly had friends complaining that I sounded like I was in a wind tunnel.
