THE indexable inserts failed to meet my expectations. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice I could tell that the edge retention was poor from the start. These simply do not hold up to general lathe work... It's unfortunate because the price point was attractive, however, the quality was lacking. The only pro is that they fit standard toolholders. Save yourself the hassle and invest in a higher quality option. Industrial and Scientific should offer better quality options..
