I really like the presentation. On the box, the inscription is slightly off-center, slightly inclined. It's hard to tell if it's one design or just a little different. When I opened the box it was beautiful! Neatly packaged, no seams. The device is beautifully redesigned. It has polygonal corners so there are no more sharp edges. Everything is carefully measured, every input, even the alignment of the case with the inputs is perfect. Overall, the new AP80 Pro is much slimmer and smaller. It feels a lot smoother. The screen is very responsive, which can't be said for my usual AP-80. The sound is competitive with Shanling M0. I have a problem with Shanling M0. Shields are separated for 2 M0s. I keep streaming even though the screen is off. So I bought this AP80 Pro to replace my Shanling M0 trust. If I leave the M0 in the case, it will probably last forever. Just disappointed, two screens appear. The AP80 feels better built, stronger and more durable. The sound is no better than a regular AP80 with an older HyBy system that only has apt-X which I never updated for because the downloads don't work. Pro is good the way it is. One caveat: the buttons still don't protrude from the case enough to be difficult to press. Especially if that's the case. Nice player! 10-01-20 I have an extra set of decent JBL floorstanding speakers that I repaired myself. I brought her to my hiding place. I connected AP-80 Pro. I wanted a small player and the regular AP-80 sounded a bit flat. I only use Bluetooth, LDAC Quality Priority and the receiver is a really smooth sounding Fiio BTR5. The amplifier is a JVC 105 wpc amplifier. All HiBy R3 models don't have "Sound Field" setting as sound enhancement. I think in most cases the sound field setting sounds great and it's fun to work with different results. Because of this sound, the AP-80 Pro has a certain advantage over all three models of HiBy R3, R3 Pro, R3 Pro Saber. Customization and all the different effects it has on performance. The screen is good, bright and clear, like a bell. It's also very responsive, a far cry from the normal AP-80. Bluetooth transmission signal is good and strong. I like this player more and more! Also, this is the only player I can easily control with one hand. This is a really neat feature. I figured out how to use the volume button so I can set it up easily. Everything is easy to do with one hand. Good sound. Great looks. Outstanding properties! Very satisfied!
