First of all, these shoes are great. The perfect elegant Mary Jane. Nearly. They are, however, dress shoes, and like all beautiful girls' or women's shoes, they are meant to be admired and not worn when much walking is involved. We needed them to match my daughter's outfit and we couldn't find a single Mary Jane in our town that matched her. After a day on her feet, she couldn't wait to take them off. These shoes are best worn for several hours, for example to church, to a party or on the day of a photo shoot. I am giving three stars because the item is as described and the service was quick. I just had to think harder about how comfortable they would be compared to the price knowing my daughter would be wearing them for a long time.
