I ordered and received these mirrors for my 2014 Toyota Tundra and installed exactly as instructed. I tightened the clamps on the outside as much as I could and the mirror caps seemed secure. I was then driving the trailer less than 1 mile down the main road from my location and hit a pothole which rebounded and immediately released the mirror cover from its clamped position and it fell and got under the wheels of my trailer. The other mirror cover was still in place, but now it had been torn off by the impact and had to be removed as it was dangerous to travel with. I'm glad it didn't happen on the freeway and didn't cause an accident as the mirror caps don't securely attach to the factory mirrors on a 2014 Toyota Tundra as advertised.
