Review on Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens, black by Funahashi Riko ᠌
The right product for me, there were no problems.
I was a little scared to use it after all these reviews about the flimsy autofocus: I solved the problem for myself by buying a lens hood that sits on the lens body, now the trunk is safe :) I am attaching sample shots.
Pros
- luminosity divine bokeh at f/1.4 and f/1.6 surprisingly sharp enough at an open aperture (much nicer than fifty dollars 1.8 II) convenient focus ring
Cons
- on an open aperture, autofocus often smears (this is expected), the effect is enhanced with a small amount of light

aperture-wow! I bought it, but unfortunately I don’t use it to its full potential - for now I’m waiting for the summer to shoot portraits in nature.
Cons below:
it doesn’t always focus where you want . so only in calm shooting conditions are good shots.
