I usually wear an 18/20 and am 5’4”. I have large hips and butt and a small waist. I got the 3x based on reviews. I just got these yesterday so this is just an initial review.These fit a little odd, but they are super comfortable. I expected to hate them when I tried them on but I don’t at all. The waist doesn’t feel solid. It isn’t a tight waistband at all. Also the rise seems a tad short. So that’s why I say they fit oddly.The fabric is thicker and silky. Not hot thick but thick in the way that they won’t be see-through. Also, I’m never a fan of the mesh insert leggings because the seams on that portion always dig in after a while. However, these don’t. They are truly very comfortable and I am happy with the price and value.Today I hiked about 2 uphill miles in them (I’m out of shape and getting into hiking again.) They slid down a tiny bit with my hiking waist pack but that was full with two water bottles for my dog and I, cash, cards, snacks, and poop bags. So it was heavy. I’m not sure if they would slide down if I hadn’t been wearing my pack. They do tend to need hiking back up after I stand from sitting a while.So, overall I am happy with these and would recommend them.
