Review on WiFi router TP-LINK TL-MR3020, white by DoYun Kim ᠌

I am satisfied with everything, both price and quality, I advise you to buy.

It is treated by installing OpenWRT. Recommended on his website for this model assembly version AA (12.09) rises without question. After installation, the first thing to do in the WiFi settings is to change the country to 2022, otherwise the default is the United States - the 13th channel is blocked and the power costs 500 mW against the 100 allowed here. I don’t know if the device supports so much, but you never know . Then you need to bring the device to the network by manually setting the routes (there is no 3G support in the assembly), ate the package database and install: comgt kmod-usb-core kmod-usb-serial kmod-usb-serial-option kmod-usb-uhci usb mode switch usb-modeswitch-data luci-proto-3g Then insert the modem, add the interface as 3G WAN, the modem is usually as /dev/ttyUSB0, the rest is clear. Otherwise, you can also configure everything and everything, a lot of settings in OpenWRT. After that it works like clockwork. 3G connects instantly and stably.

Pros
  • Compact, undemanding to power supply (according to rumors, it works from 3.5 v - you can make backup power with a lithium battery), OpenWRT is flashed without question.
Cons
  • 3G out of the box works like hell. E160G does not connect, only E171, and even then it sometimes falls off. The connection time is prohibitive - about a minute. The 3G modem settings are completely absent - everything works according to an unknown algorithm.
