I spotted our Blackstone pan which had been stored in the garage over the winter and to my surprise was covered in rust. I bought cleansing stones after seeing Black Stone on YouTube. I also bought linseed oil as mentioned in the video. Okay, so I started by brushing the cold pan with linseed oil and started rubbing the surface with a rock. You will feel the sand when he does this. After about 5 minutes, I wiped the pan down with paper towels. Make sure you have a full roll of paper towels! Then I repeated the application and wiping. brushed the pan with olive oil and turned on all the burners and let it smoke on full throttle for 10 minutes. I turned off the burners and wiped again. After about 10 minutes I repeated the process with olive oil and the pan after about 10 minutes. The pan is great now and looks just like the day we bought it. Today's burgers were fantastic too! Cleansing stones and linseed oil are worth their weight in gold!
