These shoes fit my feet perfectly! The soles are thicker than their usual five toes, so this is a great first pair to adapt to style. Toes like a massage with every step! The only reason they don't have 5 stars is because the toe strips get REALLY hot in the sun - like a burning sensation! So I would not recommend it for hot sunny summer weather. Otherwise they are great. I don't wear socks and have used them in the water and yes of course they do start to smell but regular spraying with vinegar helps eliminate the smell.
