I have to admit I had low expectations when ordering, but for the money I thought it was worth a try. I'm very glad I did. I am happy with the fit AND the comfort. First off, I like the fact that the insole can be removed to add orthotics. Second, my foot is still swollen a little after my foot surgery four months ago, and although the tissues don't stretch much, they accommodate the swelling without discomfort. I usually wear an 8-1/2 to 9 in athletic shoes. Based on the reviews I ordered an 8-1/2 and they fit well. As a bonus, the shoes came with a reusable cloth bag, which is great for stowing in a suitcase or as a small backpack. I haven't had them that long so can't confirm how well they hold up, but for the price I'll just order more.
