I literally had one like this sometime a few years ago. It was the only scrunchie I had. It lasted about three years. I bought more and ended up giving them away to people who needed them because that one scrunchie still worked. Other people use the ones I've given them for years. Shortly after he finally died, I cut my hair. Now that I'm growing it out again, I've looked everywhere for it because of the performance of this one hair tie. They stretch after a week and become unusable. I have thick hair (as thick as before). A brand new (and the scrunchie from years ago) wraps itself around my hair three times. On the third or fourth day it stretches and I have to go around my hair four times. If I've done it once, that's five times or a break. It's not what I had before. I'm looking for a good hair tie again.
