Review on 17 - 17.3 Inch Laptop Messenger Bag With Handle And Shoulder Strap By Evecase - Black by Faten Teller

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Loving it and Customer Service took take of me when I had issues with the first bag.

This bag was everything that I thought it would be from the picture and description. I'm sad though that after just 6 months the stitching had stated to come out which is then leading to fabric fraying. Sad to see money spent on good material but unless you also use good quality thread for the stitching to hold everything together what fabric you use doesn't matter much.UPDATE Feb. 2016I think it was less than 24 hrs after posting my first review that customer service contact me and reminded me of their 18 month warranty and just a couple of email exchanges later verifying shipping address etc. They sent me a replacement bag. Good customer service is wonderful to see. Here is a more critical review about the bag of what I like and don't like about the bag.ProsI like the slim design. Which is what first search criteria I had when shopping for a case. I basically wanted a sleeve with shoulder strap. This bag fulfills this requirement. It has a fuzzy liner which gives me warm fuzzies that my laptop won't be scratched up sliding in and out of the sleeve. The bag itself feels like it has some padding too to soften any bumps. I like the neoprene outside for its elastic qualities. This may seem like a small detail but the rings that the shoulder strap clips into are also wel design so the bag doesn't bunch. Think of your last bag that had rectangular loops that the should strap connects to and how those rectangle loops would always hang vertical the bag would bunch. Yeah this bag doesn't do that!ConsThe only thing I would change about this bag are the front pockets. I have a nexus 6 phone and the center pocket is just barely too small for me to be able to slide my phone into. If you have a smaller phone it may fit. Then the two side zipper pockets I would pivot and just have them completely vertical. The zipper opening is too small for my hand to really fit into but it's a deep pocket so I have to really dig to get anything out of those pockets. If they were to pivot the zipper direction to be completely vertical where they could use a longer zipper opening, that area would be great for tablet or a phone, etc. that you wouldn't want falling out. Right now I put my tablet and power adapter in the large top loading pockets where the handles are.Final opinion I would recommend purchasing this bag and I would buy this bag again.

Pros
  • love it
Cons
  • The bag may not be durable enough for frequent use
