The distance between each LED is MUCH larger than shown in the picture. Because of this, many lights appear to be close together. You actually get about 2 LEDs and the picture shows 4 LEDs for a comparable length. So they look like they are very close to each other, but they are much further apart than shown in the picture. I'm not sure if it's just a marketing gimmick and they all are, but I have another set where the lights are much closer together and there are a lot more lights. Other than that, they work great, last great, and respond well. Distance is hard to beat at this price point, but that's probably why. Just note the misrepresentation in the picture.
