READ THE SIZES!
First of all I blame myself, I read the average bag and instead of checking the dimensions I hurried and bought the bag. The bag itself is very cute! super small, I wouldn't call it "medium". If you are using this bag as a gift, do yourself a favor and grab a large fabric for the bag. The fabric doesn't cover anything in the bag unless it's something small. The pocket is about as wide as a notebook sheet. I would buy more but I would definitely go up a size :)
