Review with eczema and acne prone skin

I got this today and have been wearing it for a few hours and I tentatively think I really like it! It is very thick and while it feels fine on my face if i touch it with my hands after it’s settled it feels sort of tacky and sticky. With a little bit of powder it feels much better. Since it’s a bit tacky it does grab onto powder really well and would probably be a good base for eyeshadow. My blush was on just right all day.I have been dealing with pretty bad eczema/allergies lately, and this didn’t make my dry patches more visible through the day like many do (probably because it stays tacky instead of drying down). I typically feel burning around my eyes with any makeup just because of my skin, but the burning here is minimal to none for me (and my eyelids were already irritated today). It feels okay sitting on the face, it’s definitely moisturizing and while I can feel it there it isn’t too heavy (the product is buildable so you could definitely go lighter or heavier).I’m quite pale (I usually use the lightest shade of most every foundation) and this is just the right color, but when I take a photo using flash the white flashback is pretty bad. I have the same product in shade 21 coming soon so I can try that too, I may mix them together if I know I’ll be in bright light or if I tan a little this summer. The verdict is still out whether over time this will cause a break out for me or not as I’ve only had it on for a little under a day. I have high hopes and many people day it didn’t break them out, but with the thick and moisturizing formula I would be surprised if it did. You win some you loose some!

Pros
  • No unpleasant fragrance
Cons
  • The product can settle into pores, creating a patchy appearance
