Review on Experience Ultimate Comfort And Flexibility With Joomra Women'S Trail Running Barefoot Shoes - Wide Toe Box And Zero Drop Design by Alex Tilden

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Shoes are a solid 4 stars

I don’t have experience with this type of shoe (barefoot, minimalist) but I have been wanting to try them for some time. I had ordered another walking shoe that finally went on sale for a hundred bucks. They kept pushing the delivery date out so after 2.5 weeks I canceled the order and ultimately ordered these for less than half the sale price of the others. I got them the next day and wore them inside my house on tile floors for about 4 hours that night. I have flat, wide, tall feet. My toes have never felt so comfortable in a shoe! My feet don’t slip around whatsoever. However, the elastic at the top/ankle of the shoe is SO TIGHT. See my pics for a close up of what I’m talking about. I’m wearing them right now, again, inside my house, trying to decide if I should keep them. I read in other reviews that they stretch a little. I’m not sure if they will or not, and if they do, will they be too loose for outdoor walking? The elastic was a selling feature for me cause we walk fast and I kick up debris which always ends up inside my shoes and then we have to stop so I can empty them. The shoes seem to be very well made; no loose strings, no glue marks, the soles are completely non-slip so far. They slip on and off pretty easily (harder to get on, obviously) and there is some padding in the back of the shoe surrounding the ankle, which I didn’t snap a picture of, but that gives it some structure. The only bad things about these shoes is the elastic being super tight and the fact that they look like toddler’s water shoes haha! Whether or not I keep them I totally recommend you try them. If they fit your foot you won’t find a better shoe for the price.
