Very useful for presentations.

I had the opportunity to test this player for a few days and I can say that it is very suitable for small presentations, if you are a product demonstrator or someone who uses video media to present your "presentation" . Being able to sit down with a prospect in a quiet public setting, just pull out a portable player and upload your presentation is great! The included remote control is ideal for pausing and resuming playback during spoken segments, and the screen is large enough to view content clearly while keeping the player compact. You can use memory and USB ports to run image slides with high pixel density, so it's really great for presentations. I saved a star for a few little things. 1. Subtitles are enabled by default but cannot be disabled in the player menu. You must use the supplied remote control (unless the DVD has a menu system that allows you to switch it).2. When the movie ends and he falls into a "dream" he activates the cutscene. I want it to just go to sleep and save battery. General Points: The screen is a typical TFT-LCD with good brightness. Sound doesn't destroy a house, but it surprised me in some explosion scenes. The device remembers where you left off when you stop playback and resume later. You can rotate the screen so that the DVD drive is behind the unit, this brings the screen closer to the viewer when sitting on a table on an airplane, for example. If I could ask for a great feature, it would be the ability to use different codecs like mp4, mkv, etc. The HD resolution screen could really make better use of these codecs considering DVDs are capped at 480p.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Big and chunky
