Such a beautiful and interesting plant. Leaves - silk-like fabric with a multi-colored print on the top, bottom - plastic tips. Wire stems from root to about 6 inches from leaf tips to form. If you have it on your patio, the leaves will sway freely in the wind. It has 2 new curled leaves: 1 on top, the other on the bottom. . The trunks and stalks have a natural shape, similar to how palm trees or other tropical plants grow. A wooden pot is a solid stem that is placed on a lathe to hollow out and shape. It has stains but no finish. When I arrived I was very thirsty so I smeared a few coats of edible mineral oil which I use on my cutting boards. This gave the wood more depth and let the texture shine. I live in Phoenix, Arizona, and the dry climate makes woodwork dry and crack quickly, so I'll be oiling the pot regularly. It's weighted pretty well and the black hardened sand cap looks nice. I am happy with this plant and it is definitely the most interesting foliage I have. Many Thanks. !
