Review on 🔄 Blueair 400 PF Replacement Filter: Enhance Air Quality with Single Unit, White by Will Schimmel

I hate paying that much for a filter as we have 3 of these units BUT I think it's worth it decided to buy a real model. I've tried several fakes from different brands and I just don't think they work as well as they seem to interfere with the automatic function. One of my devices kept switching between settings 2 and 3 and the only way to stop this is to turn off the automatic mode. That didn't happen with the Blueair filter. Replacing fakes, they also don't feel as messy as the Blueair brand for some reason, plus the Blueair seems to slip and fit better and are easier to take off. I'm not a germ phobia or a fanatic, but my air seems fresher. These new ones I just bought have different instructions on the sides. Instead of saying "This side must face backwards or forwards" there is simply a sticker with an arrow indicating the AIRFLOW DIRECTION. I pushed that sticker away and indeed it covered the original placement instructions on the page. I'm really not sure if that's really clearer as it confused me a bit. However, it looks like the metal side is facing the air intake and the knurled side is facing the control side. Seems to be working great and I think I'll stick with Blueair from now on. When installing for the first time, do not be put off by the slight smell of oil, which dissipates very quickly.
