I chose this brand because of the difference in price compared to OEM filters. I was wary at first but they had free returns so I knew I wasn't taking any chances. I still had a few of the original filters that I bought with the HEPA filters, so I knew I could use my spares and return the broken ones if the replacement turned out to be junk. It turned out that there was no risk for me. The filters fit and work like the originals. I cannot find any discrepancies between these replacement parts and the originals. Many reviews mention that some of the charcoal has insufficient charcoal content. I have several different brands of HEPA filters so I compared Durabasics to all of my original filters including the original filters I just replaced. These replacement filters actually had more charcoal than any other I have. I think it's worth mentioning because everything else is my original OEM. I can only conclude that a batch of charcoal doesn't need to be completely netted to work. I suspect that overflow restricts airflow too much, but that's just my educated guess. I know it removes odors and that's the main thing. The only difference I can see between these filters and my originals is the price. For me, 40€ compared to 65€ for a pair of filters is a clear difference, especially since I can't tell any difference in functionality or quality.
